The pocket-sized PVC Aadhaar card is as easy to get as an ATM card. You can apply yourself and if you pay Rs 50 the card will reach home.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has redesigned the Aadhaar card in 2021. This is known as the PVC Aadhaar card. Earlier, Aadhaar was available only in printed paper form. The new digital Aadhaar card will be available as an updated ATM card. This way you can register all your family members digitally using just one mobile number. In addition, a PVC Aadhaar card can be delivered to your home for Rs 50.
All you need to do to get a PVC Aadhaar card
Step 1 – Visit the UIDI website (uidai.gov.in) Apply for Aadhaar Card.
Step 2 – Enter the Aadhaar card number, registration number, and virtual ID number.
Step 3 – Pay Rs 50 to order your card.
Even if your mobile number is not linked to your Aadhaar card, you can still apply for a PVC Aadhaar card.
Step 1- Visit the website
Step 2 – Register your Aadhaar card number.
Step 3 – Next enter your security code. Then click on the ‘my mobile not registered’ option.
Step 4 – Enter your mobile number and click on ‘send OTP’
Step 5 – You will receive an OTP on your registered number. Enter OTP.
Step 6 – Now you have to pay Rs.50.
PVC Aadhaar card will be delivered to your registered address within two weeks.
