Bodies Dumped In Ganga; The Human Rights Commission Sent notices to the Center and the States

National Human Rights Commission intervenes in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar floods. The Human Rights Commission has sent notices to the Central and State Governments.

It has been directed to investigate the incident and submit a report within four days. About 100 bodies have been recovered from the river Ganga so far. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had directed both the states to investigate the incident.

Hundreds of bodies from Uttar Pradesh were washed away by the Ganges to Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. In addition, several bodies were found on the banks of the river in eastern UP. After this, the bodies were found buried in the sand on the banks of the river Unnao.

Scenes of ambulance drivers throwing bodies into the river were circulating on social media. Ambulance driver’s bodies were dumped on a bridge on the Uttar Pradesh – Bihar border.
