New Delhi: The Central Government has warned against sharing on social media the vaccination certificate obtained after receiving the covid vaccine. The Center has come out against such action as the certificate contains personal information.
It has been noticed that many people who have received the covid vaccine upload their certificates on social media. In this context, the Union Home Ministry has issued a warning through the Cyber Dost account, the Twitter handle on cybersecurity awareness. Do not share the vaccination certificate on social media platforms as it contains personal information. They are a warning that they may be misused by cyber fraud groups.
The government will issue you a certificate with your name and information if you receive the covid vaccine. The certificate will include the last four digits of the Aadhaar card, including the date and time the vaccine was received, the name of the person who received the vaccine, the center where the vaccine was received and the date the second dose should be received. A provisional certificate is obtained after the first dose. Receive the original certificate after receiving both doses.
